A Unique Opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist...No Nights, Weekends or Holidays!
This is a Government Contract position. Looking for a pharmacist for up to one year on the project. Duty hours will be 7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday. May be required to work one Saturday a month. This position is considered full time. Federal holidays will not be considered work days.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral degree in Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education
A current, valid, unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam or the U.S. Virgin Islands
Specific Tasks:
A working knowledge of pharmacy computer system such as CHCS computer system
Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures
Counsel patients regarding appropriate use of medications
Review patient profiles at the time of dispensing in order to closely monitor medication therapy
Compound medications as required
Ensure accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff
Provide medication information and medication therapy guidelines to the clinical staff as required
Consult with other specialty practitioners to provide optimal patient pharmaceutical care
