JOB OVERVIEW
The position of Account Representative is primarily responsible to find and service top clients in their respective regions. This includes new account development and customer competitor analysis. Additionally, will be responsible for developing Strategic Clients Plans including plan development, plan implementation, follow up, updates and overall management. This role includes the following essential duties and responsibilities.
Meet the financial goals and growth initiatives of your respective region.
Lead internal and external team members to ensure all expectations are met.
Work closely with Director of Sales to manage the prospect pipeline strategically.
Identify and call upon current and potential Pharmacy accounts through internal and external systems, referrals, job fairs, company/client-sponsored events, direct mail / traditional advertising and developing new sales sources.
Increase the number of clients in all areas of the Pharmacy marketplace.
Manage contract generation and pricing structures. This includes proper documentation and record keeping.
Generate and actively contact current and former Pharmacy Associates and call all current Associates to gain leads to increase client base.
Obtain detailed information from Staffing Consultants on available Associates to fill current and future client needs.
Match effectively the skill sets of your Associates with the unique needs of your clients.
Build productive relationships with new and existing clients, employees and coworkers.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all applicable state and local government, accrediting agency, and client-specific contractual laws/requirements.
Maintain applicant and client files by utilizing internal systems.
Manage associate pay rates to ensure proper gross profit percentages.
Provide weekly recaps of regional performance which includes New clients, associates and successes.
Computer skills in MS Office, Internet and email tools.
Job Requirements
Requires a BA/BS in Business, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, Industry experience highly desired.
Exceed revenue and client expectations set by management and outlined in regional budgets
Meet minimum new account numbers
1 executed contract per week
1 first shift worked per new client each month
Monitor proper pricing and GP% within region
Responsible for coordinating all leads to sister divisions
Mentor other team members in Account Development and demonstrate daily/weekly leadership through consistent meetings
