Job Responsibilities

Evaluate medication orders or prescriptions accurately, compounding medications, package, and dispense.
Assists physicians in the management of patient drug therapies and screens physician orders for potential drug interactions. Evaluates the patient's response to medication, observing for signs of toxicity or adverse reaction.
Serves as a technical resource for other medical professionals.
Clinical and dispensing functions as required.
Oversees the work performed by pharmacy residents, interns,and technicians.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements

One plus year of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred.
A bachelor's degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Currently licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Texas or elgible for reciprocity.
