The Midwest’s leading IT Technology Team, 3-Points, LLC is hiring experienced and entry-level Network Engineers throughout Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwestern Indiana.
PROVIDE IT design, installation and support services to a wide variety of businesses utilizing Microsoft platforms including Windows XP/Vista, and Windows 2000/2003 server.
LEARN how to deploy and support technologies such as Dell servers, Microsoft Exchange, Symantec Anti-virus, Symantec Back-UP Exec, Trend Micro Anti-Virus, GFI Mail Essentials, Cisco firewalls, Acronis imaging software, tape backup libraries and other storage systems including Storage Area Networks (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS).
We offer a generous compensation package. Salary is commensurate with experience. - Crucial to your on-the-job success: Professionally interact with our clients over the phone delivering preventive technical maintenance and troubleshooting services
- Work on location at our client sites providing IT network and desktop, design, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting services
- Work with our team of training professionals to learn how to design, implement and support technology solutions using, Windows 2000/XP/Vista; Windows 2000/2003 Standard & Small Business Server; Exchange 2000/2003; SQL 2000/2005; Office 2000/XP/2003/2007; Back-Up Exec; Symantec Anti-Virus; APC Battery Back-Up Systems; Cisco PIX and ASA Firewalls, SPAM Monitoring Software, Tape Back-Up Drives and network storage devices.
Requirements:
- Degree from 4-year college (MIS or IT degree preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the MIS/IT service industry or in a corporate IT department
- Good planning and problem solving skills
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience working with Microsoft platforms including Windows XP, and Windows 2003 Small Business Server and Microsoft 2003 Standard Server
