We’re actively expanding our winning team, and are looking for a Technical Program Product Manager to help take our marketing platforms in new, exciting directions! The Technical Program Product Manager is responsible for end to end product development and management. The successful candidate will gather customer requirements, write marketing requirement specifications, plan the release, and launch the product. In addition, the TPPM will have input into the product strategy and roadmap and will provide supporting business and competitive analysis. The TPPM will work closely with software development engineers, developer relations and both internal and external customers to execute new programs. Successful candidates will have a strong technical background, finely tuned project management skills, be highly detail-oriented, and have excellent problem solving abilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Playing an integral role in defining and designing the next generation of Amazon’s internal marketing tools
- Working with internal and external customers, developers and back-end services to define, coordinate, plan and deliver on a complex roadmap with numerous organizational and technical dependencies
- Defining and monitoring numerous business and technical metrics to accurately forecast and manage the success of the business
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or related, MBA preferred
- Background in Computer Science; working knowledge of Object Oriented Programming, Web services, XML, SOAP, XSLT, and WSDL is required
- Strong knowledge of 3rd party ad serving and technology (DART — DFA/DFP, Atlas, Mediaplex, Zedo, etc.)
- Working knowledge of online targeting and tracking technologies
- PMI or other project management certification is a big plus
- Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Proven experience of working with teams of 5+ people and experience managing a product
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
