Industrial Engineer

Provide engineering support for the DNA production line process by applying industrial engineering practices in the areas of: process mapping and analysis; workflow optimization and simulation; ergonomic and human factors in work cell design. Coordinate on production line layouts and designs; document management and project monitoring, equipment procurement, evaluating equipment capability and effectiveness using statistical process control and data analysis techniques, in addition to troubleshooting production line performance. Provide support and assistance for a DNA production sequencing process and R&D technology development projects, including, coordinating, and documenting projects. Communicate effectively both orally and in writing to accomplish goals as a team member.
BS degree in Industrial Engineering or other engineering discipline or equivalent experience and a minimum of three years related experience. Strong production line or process analysis skills in the areas of workflow, throughput, cost, quality, facility layout, human factors, ergonomics, process simulation, statistical process control and risk analysis.
