Complete Description
Provides high quality non-invasive diagnostic ultrasound examinations to patients. Provides on-call emergency and portable exams as needed. Complete paper work and billing for all procedures. Coordinates examinations with other hospital departments to ensure excellent care in diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Knowledge of ultrasound and/or cardio-vascular peripheral testing procedures and equipment as acquired through completion of two to three years of post high school training or an associate's degree. Preferred but not required for the position is one of the following: certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or licensure as a registered nurse.
Additional Information
Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
Rotating Shifts may be required.
