Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Job Description: Shift 7am to 7pm with rotational weekend opportunities at the Assisted Breathing Center. with rotational weekend requirements. Direct patient care responsibilities within the LPN job scope The Licensed Practical Nurse provides skilled, technical nursing care to ventilator-dependent patients (complete or partial dependence) under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN). . Metro Health has received the Governor's Award of Excellence for Inpatient Services that last 3 years running, and is named in the top 5% of hospitals nationwide for implementation of safety practices in inpatient care.
Requirements:
Required Education
1. Michigan Practical Nurse licensure.
2. Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) provider???required.
3. Experience with ventilator-dependent patients preferred.
