Job Description

We invite you to join our busy multi-specialty womens’ imaging center in Orange as either a Surgical Medical Assistant or an Oncology Medical Assistant. The positions are full-time and have flexible work schedules. As a Medical Assistant you’ll be responsible for:
* Taking accurate weight, height, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature readings. * Performing blood draws, as well as giving IM and subcutaneous injections. * Working with the clinical nursing staff and conveying patient needs to the nursing/physician staff for the correct intervention. * Submitting patient information to other providers for second opinion consultations. * Patient scheduling, insurance authorizations, scanning documents, and other projects/tasks as assigned.We offer full benefits including: medical/dental/vision coverage, paid vacation/holidays/sick time, free life insurance, 401k, credit union membership, education reimbursement, free radiology services for employees and their immediate family, hands-on training, advancement opportunities, and a host of other perks!

Job Requirements
We’re looking for knowledgeable candidates with a Medical Assistant certificate, Phlebotomy certificate, and 3+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
