JOB DESCRIPTION:
# This Distributor Specialist will execute sale support strategy focused on the Physician Office Laboratory market.
# Position involves focused distributor sales specialist trains, motivates and strategically sells within their geographic territory multi-distributor network calling on physician offices and hospital based practices.
# Product focus involves diagnostic instrumentation systems along with their related reagents/supplies with major emphasis in the Urinalysis, AIC Testing and Diabetes areas.
# Estimated customer call focus is 75% POL market and 25% hospital related.
# Critical to this role involves the direct sales efforts at the customer level and the ability to develop a reliable, credible collaborative working relationship with their distributor partners.
# This field based opportunity requires a home based office and includes potential travel estimated in the 40-60% range.
# Territory includes Chicago southwest area along with the Northern Illinois state area. (does not include Chicago north, Northeast Illinois and Rockford areas) Spans to include Eastern Iowa, Cedar Rapids and Des Moines areas. Ideal location to be based is in the Southwest Chicago, Aurora, Naperville, Joliet vicinities.
# This is an excellent career opportunity selling market leading products for a dynamic, growing division of the company.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Realistic income should earn $ 110-120K first year and top reps are earning above 140K or more. Base salary, commissions, company car, business expenses, sales incentive trips and recognition awards, training, medical, dental vision insurances, 401K.
Requirements
# Client prefers at least 4-6 years of overall sales experience of which at least 2-3 years to be involved with physician office market sales experience.
# Experience working with physician medical equipment/supply distribution networks is a plus.
# The ideal candidate will show general working knowledge of clinics, physician offices and hospitals; excellent proven working execution of complex sales cycles involving capital equipment in physician accounts; demonstrated experience in dealing with Urologists, Family Practice, Endocrinologists, Internal Medicine or OB/GYN.
# Med Tech experience is a real plus.
# A 4-year college degree is required.
