Education Requirements:
• College degree required; Advanced degree preferred (business related degrees preferred or Project Management, Insurance or Organizational Behavior)

Qualification Requirements:
• Strong leadership skills
• Highly developed customer relationship management skills
• Solid speaking, facilitation and presentation skills
• Highly skilled in the art of negotiation; able to artfully deal with all manor of conflicts and challenges, as well as masterfully achieve compromise solutions that do not jeopardize project goals
• Ability to discern when to escalate issues and to whom, as well as having the confidence to firmly communicate a sometimes unpopular client advocate position
• Well developed organizational skills and demonstrated proficiency in Planning, Needs Assessment and Project Management
• Be already involved in or willing to acquire PMI certification
• Strategic thinker with the ability to think “outside of the box”
• Ability to quickly evaluate a situation, analyze problem and provide value added solutions to clients
• Ability to develop and motivate project team
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with clients to assure complete satisfaction
• Solid understanding of product, insurance and various internal departmental workflows
• Keen understanding of the data conversion process and its customer impact
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills
• Able to effectively communicate with all levels of personnel in both internal and external entities; demonstrated comfort level with executive personnel, as well as skilled associates
• Well developed disciplines in tracking time and ensuring productivity on projects to meet budget requirements
• Basic computer skills Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Microsoft Project
• Minimum of 5+ years project management/agency/insurance experience preferred

Job Summary:
Working under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and successful completion of multiple system implementation projects associated with Applied’s top tier clients. The Project Manager manages the execution of all implementation service needs, utilizing a methodical approach to planning and guiding project processes from start to finish. *Location: University Park, IL
